The first premise of the work is a square, the second a circle. The drawn relationships and circumscribed shapes  hold the work together as the traditional unity of the painting is split between the  canvas and the wall. Both are essential for the painting to make sense; The structure is no longer a grid, the boundary of the work extends into the viewer’s space questioning the continuum on which it exists.
